Sorry to hear about this. I would suggest that you post something to the
OBRA list serve at obra@list.obra.org. Messages sent to that will go out to
about 2,000 bike racers and people interested in bike racing mostly in
Oregon. There is a good chance someone on that list will be able to help
and at least that will put more eyes and ears out there. Let me know if you
need any help with this or if you want me to post for you. For that matter,
let me know if you need anything about bike racing here in Oregon.

Jonathan and Mike,
Good morning, I have a favor to ask for one of Portland's newest residents.
Dave Hemming and his wife just moved to Portland last month. Dave works for
Marin Bikes and is an industry veteran. Sadly, his new home was broken into
shortly after they moved and they lost just about everything. I' m writing
to each of you to get the word out to the bike community to be on the
lookout for things that Dave cannot replace. They stole 20 years worth of
cycling apparel and memorabilia, including a large amount of contemporary
technical wear. Worst of all, Dave lost the UCI World Mountain Bike
Championship silver medal he won in 1990. (Junior Downhill.) If nothing
else, we need to find this medal for Dave.

The thieves also stole household goods, electronics, and a lot more. Would
you please contact Dave to get information from him to post to our
community? He was so excited to be moving to this city just in time to ride
and this has been an emotional blow. I've noted his contact information
below. Thanks guys.
