Thanks everyone for coming out in numbers yesterday at Horning's Hideout to kick off the Oregon MTB race season in style (and with the right dose of mud). Per our latest count, we had about 220 racers, quite a few of whom never raced a bike before!

We are still plugging away on the results. Expect preliminary results later today and final results by end of the week.

In the meantime a BIG THANKS to...

- Bob Horning and his gang for hosting our race and providing us a ton of help with building the great course we had.
- The guys from Outpost, who performed a much-enjoyed live concert. They are playing again this Thursday (3/29) at the Hawthorne Theatre (Hawthorne and 39th) at 8pm. Go see them!
- Our sponsors Trek, Bontrager, Bike Gallery, Chris King, Clif Bar and Gleukos for their continued support for Oregon MTB racing and some very nice prices.
- The folks of PUMP and the Vernonia Bike Skills Park for serving up some delicious food.
- Finally, a big SHOUT to all volunteers who helped out with course set-up, registration & finish, course marshaling, first-aid, food station and tear-down.You all did an awesome job and we couldn't have pulled it off without your help!

So there we had it. We hope you all enjoyed the inaugural Horning's Hustle MTB XC Classic. We plan to be back next year, and make it even better. Time now to get on your bikes and start training for the Portland MTB Short Track Series, which is coming up in less than 3 months!
