Many thanks for all the kind words and emails and suggestions but to help put things in perspective, there were several factors at play in the decision. The Tabor dates were tied to the park permit approval which were limited on that side, while Corbett has traditionaly prefered a Sunday event given the traffic and recreational riders that can be seen on a Saturday. Logistics for several weekend events were considered too.
Finally, and more importantly, we already have a great weekend of racing with the OBRA track Champsionships Friday and Saturday followed by Tabor on Sunday!!! So come out to the track and win a medal, then head up to the dormant volcano and win a prime (or two). Hope to see everyone at both.
