Dear AP,

Actually it was 42 miles, 7000 vertical feet (I had a reading of
exactly 2000 meters on my altimeter, but I took one wrong turn for a
little extra), not exactly 42 hills. I believe we estimated 15 - 18
hill climbs depending on how you counted them. I have posted some of
them on my web site on a google interactive map - http://
www.flybynightpro.com/video/cycling.html. Otherwise there is a
descriptive pdf that can be downloaded from http://bikeportland.org/
2007/04/17/documentary-recaps-portlands-tour-of-flanders/.

Ouch, and I repeat ouch! Oh the torture of those hills! I love it! Great map. I love the video! Next year, and with advanced notice, I would like to give this glorious torture a go!

The link http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=766828 seems to have truncated the route since the ride. However, I did grab a copy of the ride at that time and have posted it onto a web page at
http://www.flybynightpro.com/video/cycling.html . Enjoy the hills.
