The Valley/CBC Hot Dog Dash Mountain Bike Race
Sunday, July 29
Come ride, party and eat! Post-race BBQ included in race fee! Ribbons =
and small prizes will be awarded in each class. No license required.
Course:
6-mile loop on Capitol Forest trails located near Olympia, WA. =
Beginner, sport and expert classes will complete 1, 2 and 3 laps, =
respectively (trails #6, #10 and Mima/Porter #8) beginning from Mima =
Falls trailhead. Special course for kids race with same start location.
Fee:
Kids $5, adults $20, juniors $15. BBQ is free to all racers, $5 for =
non-racers.
Classes (17 total):
Junior Girls (under 18), Beginner and Sport
Junior Boys (under 18), Beginner and Sport
Senior Women (18-39), Beginner, Sport and Expert
Senior Men (18-39), Beginner, Sport and Expert
Master Women (40+), Beginner, Sport and Expert
Master Men (40+), Beginner, Sport and Expert
Kids Race (under 13). Ribbons for each participant in kids race.
Time:
Registration 9-10:30 AM (day of race only). Wave starts 11-11:15 AM. =
Barbecue to follow race, 12:30-3 PM (veggie food, too!).
Directions:
From I-5, exit on the Littlerock/Maytown exit #95 heading West. Follow =
Littlerock/Maytown Road past Littlerock to a "T" interstecting Waddell =
Creek Road. Turn left. In one mile, turn right at Bordeaux Road. =
Follow Bordeaux for approximately 1 mile, then turn right on Marksman =
Road; follow to Mima Falls trailhead and parking.
There is limited camping available at Mima Falls and nearby Margaret =
McKinney campgrounds.
