If you're a student and have a student body card you qualify for TWA's youth
pack which includes 4 one-way trips anywhere in the US. As I recall the
Youth Pack was under $500 several years back.
Teran used his Lance Armstrong grants this way which meant that he could go
to more races than he would have been had he used standard fares, BUT he did
have to pay for his bikes and ground costs which he was able to arrange
through the local reps at a cost (including food!!! and transportation--the
kindness of strangers!) of about $15 per day.
The vouchers are good for one year so although you'll be paying up front,
you'll have another ticket anywhere standing by.

Hi everyone,
In a little over a week I am planning on going to U-23/Junior
Nationals in Florida, and I have yet to purchase my ticket. Does anyone have
good tips/advice on getting a cheap airplane ticket? How good are priceline
and the other internet ticket agencies?
Also, does anyone know of any cyclist in the Gainesville Florida area
that might be interested in hosting a racer for a few days? The USCF is not
providing host housing for nationals, instead they have a host hotel for the
convenient price of around $100 a night.
