OT - Computer lessons learned

I know that many of us have discovered that Google Maps is a great way
to create/share route maps. Which is way cooler than it used to be years
ago. One thing I learred today while playing (hey... I am a computer
geek... what do you expect?) is that Goolge Maps does not work really
well with some browsers.

If you use Windows, Internet Explorer and Firefox(formerly
Mozilla/Netscape) work pretty good.
MAC (specifically OSX), Mozilla/Firefox workgreat. Internet Explorer for
Apple will lock up, resulting in a browser hang, forcing you to
terminate the browser.

If you use a variant of Linux (I know I am not the only one...),
Mozilla/Firefox and Netscape work great.

The one browser I had lots of problems with is Opera on all platforms.
This is through a broadband connection (DSL or Cable). Dont even try
this at home (with Opera) if you have only dialup.

In any case... just an FYI for all of us budding cycling/cartographers
out their.
