the three individual races are scored as an omnium.
for each of the individual event there are points for your placings.
The person with the most points at the end of the night is the winner.
at the track points are typically 7-5-3-2-1 for 1st through 5th for each event.
So if you won all three your have 21 points.
Ties are broken by # of 1st places, then # of 2nd places, etc, if those are still even, then ties are broken based on the final races placings.

In the results posted on the OBRA web site, there is only a single results set for the Novice Men category. Presumably this means that the results from that evening's three races were combined somehow.
Is it typical that there are three races for Novices on Fast Twitch Fridays? How are the outcomes from the three races combined into the single result set for the evening?
