Volunteer Ride Leaders Needed!
Do you love kids and biking? Do you have the ability to volunteer
during the school day? BTA's Bicycle Safety Education (BSE) program is
up and running. We are seeking 'ride leader' volunteers to help BSE
instructors escort kids on neighborhood rides. The neighborhood ride-
or Community Ride- is the last lesson of our 10-hour program. If you
can imagine taking 30 kids on a bike ride, you'll understand the need
for a few adults to help out. The rides are a fun time, promising at
least one funny kid who will make you laugh out loud. Plus- as we all
know, the future of biking lies with our kids, so come share your bike
passion.
The schedule of rides for the rest of the season is listed below. We
especially need helpers for Sacramento Elementary School next Friday,
May 18th. To sign up or for more information, just give me a call or
email.
Thanks!
