Oh well. Hopefully other promoters don?t head down the path of thinking that
just because you?re over 40 you can?t do a hard ride. Hell, that?s the
number one reason I choose to race Expert.

I did not get any takers for the free tires last time so I included a
picture to entice you this time, I will be at chainbreaker in a green dodge
caravan.

On another note I have found out expert 40+ will be doing 2 laps instead of
three despite what I see as majority support for three laps.

I heard the reason was because some of us take nearly 4 hours, I looked at
past results and do not understand this point of view.

I signed up for the 19-39 so I could do more laps because I have nothing to
loose as a relatively slow rider. I think you are going to see the fast guys
stay in thier category to fight for points and the slow guys that don't care
as much about points but want to get a good ride in go three laps so....
mission not accomplished.

I assume that if I place in the 19-39 category as a 40 year old I will not
get my points and am ok with that, but I hope the points I get go to my
team.

Anyway I am looking forward to the race, pre-rode today and they course got
a little moisture today so it should be fun and fast!

I agree - that sucks.and it's the primary reason I won't be making the drive
for this race for the first time since I moved to Oregon.
