Maybe you could race in the Masters RR instead. I sincerely appreciate your
offer to help.
I will be out at PIR on Friday afternoon clearing the course as I am told
there is more clearing and grubbing work being done this week by PIR. Until
that is done, it is probably a waste of time to start cleaning up the
course.

Sorry about the late notice but I just went to the race
site and there is
still a substantial amount of clean-up that needs to take
place on the
course from work being done by PIR'c contractors. As many
of you know, PIR
has been clearing vegetation (read, blackberry bushes) and
it has led to a
rash of flat tires that makes racing there very
unnappealing in my opinion.
Therefore, I will be working on getting the course cleared
so MTB racing can
resume on next Monday evening. Please pass the word to
anyone you know who
may have been planning to race tonight.
Again, I apologize for the late notice regarding tonights race.
