Sadly Bend Parks and Rec was only willing to allow one race inside Shevlin Park. This had nothing to do with the racers, user conflicts, or anything else. Bend Parks and Rec basically made a one race exception for us.
The good news is the races will continue for the next 3 weeks, maybe more, on the property just north of Summit High School, across from the Northwest Crossing housing development. Registration will be at Ordway and Clearwater streets.
$10 to race with lots of prizes and primes.
