I have 4 tickets to the High Performance, Road to Eugene meet at the University of Oregon-this Sunday, May 27th. Since my better half is actually in town for once, and racing in Silverton on Sunday-I better attend that race instead. Never fear-I will be heading to Eugene on Saturday night for the star studded, loaded men's and women's 5000-paced to set the World A standard and Olympic Trials A standard qualifying time. Portland local Nike athletes Adam Goucher and Amy Yoder-Begley will be running their hearts out for those standards.
Any who-now you know the runner in our family. I have the four tickets available to anyone who wants them-they will have an interactive kids zone set up, where kids get to meet the athletes, participate in some field events, and race before the fans at historic Hayward Field. Please email me off line if you want the tickets. I will have to wait untill the Prefontaine meet.
