IMHO this is the funnest MTB race of the year. I like all the races and all the variety but really like 50's and the TOE is just a fun all around course. Not as grueling as a 100 or 12hr and not as intense as a typical XC. Really just a good day in the woods with your friends but with a clock ticking away somewhere to keep your mind right. Wouldn't mind seeing a couple other 50's on the schedule....not that I'm volunteering.

Hey all Dirt lovers

The course is being prepped and 25 sections of single track await you
as you ride or race for 50 miles and climb 7500 ft towards finishing
or winning either of these two races. Its a two lap affair and with 3
aide stations per lap and the ability to have your gear (cooler,
bottles, parts) taken to any of these aide stops and great food on
the way you will complete this event and may even surprise yourself.

Team Competition 500.00 first place team. 250.00 second place team
and since I have heard rumors that S and M and Capitol Subaru are
sending a 40+ team as well so I will do an award for that comp as
well. Enter 6 riders (all with the same jersey) and the fastest 4
count towards your team time.

The couples comp is back as well and we have a gift basket worth over
100.00 to the fastest male and female (you do not have to be on the
same team)

Remember you will ride as a solo in your category and compete for
these side team and or couple competitions. I will in addition track
your results and you will get OBRA BAR points in your particular
racing cat as well.

Singlespeeders**

The ultimate test to see who is the fastest over this grueling
distance. You will leave 10-15 minutes prior to the geared crowd and
will have a chance to win a 18 inch desalvo Singlespeed frame as well
as all of the support---not that Singlespeeders need it, and great
times as you take your 32X18 or whatever sick gear combo with you up
and down the coast range.
Custom Mechanics shirts and 100.00 for the overall fastest make and
female winners. I have 3 classes for male and female so from beginner
to 40+ to open you will find what suits your ability.

All athletes will get custom plates with there team name and name as
well as a big burrito after the race as well as all athletes will
receive a 5 minute pre or post race massage-----ask the guys and gals
last year-------it rocks.

Camping Saturday night is filling up 5 minutes from the start line
and with Music Saturday night from 6:30-8:30 and a all you can eat
breakfast Sunday morning from the Blodgett cafe for 5.00.

Please enter by June 4th if you do want a custom plate and please
remember to have your gear in the gym no later than 8am as the race
starts at 9am sharp
enter online at orbike.com of DL the entry from
www.mudslingerevents.com. Day before reg 2-5 at Cyclotopia downtown
corvallis.

Thanks
