Mark J. Ginsberg
Fellow cyclists,
There has been some concern voiced from Mt Tabor?s non-bicycle users about the speed of bicyclists in Mt Tabor Park.
Some bicyclists are riding the race circuit in preparation for the Mt Tabor Race Series; others enjoying the park or commuting through it. Please be aware that there is a legal speed limit of 15 mph for all vehicles in the park, and that some bicyclists are exceeding it occasionally.
Some non-bicyclist users are surprised, and therefore frightened, when passed by a bicyclist when they don?t hear the bicyclist coming. Please don?t assume that somebody else is aware of your rapid approach.
This is an appeal to all bicycle riders in the park to remember that it?s open to all, so please be courteous to other users.
Thanks for being considerate and enjoy your park!

PS: But don?t worry; the speed limit does not apply during OBRA race events!
