Picketts Charge- Call out to racers

Picketts was great fun and fast! I dodged several water bottles as well. I agree with Patrick that each of us need to do our part to maintain our access not just at the Picketts site, but think about the earlier post regarding the Mt. Tabor neighborhood meeting regarding cyclists.... How we ride and how we leave an area has a direct impact on our future use of venues or trails. A few individuals can reverse alot of hard earned trust.
Race/ride hard, but pack out your trash in the case of Picketts.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Picketts Charge- Call out to racers

1st of all thanks to the promoters for putting together an awesome race!!

I would like to call out the racers who are dropping water bottles along the course. There seemed to be more than just the occassional bottle that falls out of the cage. I also saw tubes and CO2 cartridges along the trail. This is not acceptable.

My advice, IF you feel the need to drop a bottle do it around a feed station or the start finish SO YOU CAN PICK IT UP AFTER THE RACE.

Let's not make things harder on the race promoters, it's a priviledge to have an awesome race series.

Thanks

~Patrick
