Mt. Hood Photos

A few folks have been asking about my photos from Mt. Hood. I did shoot all 6 stages along with Kurt Jambretz from Action Images (www.actionimages.cc). Kurt and I primarily captured the pro fields and we both had a nightly workflow focused on processing and submitting photo samples to VeloNews, CyclingNews, teams, and others to support their editorial content and press releases.

I do have some photos of the non-pro fields from stages 4-6. Right now I?m trying to get caught-up at work, but I will be post-processing dozens of images over the next several evenings. As some of you know, I?m sort of a detail and control freak when it comes to my photos. I prefer to custom process and print my stuff instead of outsourcing the printing and billing to online sites. I do understand that his can be frustrating because you can?t just order a print with a few mouse clicks and a credit card number (perhaps this is primary reason why so few of my images sell!).

I may switch to another site that will allow online ordering (prints only) for the MHCC photos. Licensing fees for digital files are based on the terms of use, so you still need to contact me directly for a quote. When you do, please be as specific as possible regarding how you plan to use an image.

I?ll post a note as soon as I get them all online. Chad Sperry and Tre Hendricks will also be posting some of my photos on the MHCC event website.

Thanks,
Ted Turner
