Frame, fork and seatpost-collar only; no headset. Note Trek 56 means it's a 56 cm seat tube center to top. The top tube is about 56 cm c-c too. I'm 5"11 and it's a bit short top-tube wise for me, even with a long stem. So if you're a bit shorter, or have a relatively short torso/arms, it might fit you fine.
Condition: very good to excellent, with a few minor nicks and scratches. Never crashed. Asking $750.
I just looked it over under a bright light, and found no imperfections other than about 4 small nicks from stones or whatever.
Reason for selling: I hate to sell it, but I need a longer top tube, and have already transferred the parts.
Material: All carbon frame and fork. Frame is Trek's OCLV 120, and fork is OCLV 110, which is even a bit lighter. The 'tab' or braze-on (if that's the right word) is there to attach a front derailleur.
Style: It's the blue and silver scheme with the USPS decal on the down tube. I think it's a beautiful frame, and I like the decal, but hey, you can take some off if you want.
History: The original owner was a very reputable business exec from California who sold it to me through RoadBikeReviews.com. He was clearly well-informed about bikes and sold me a whole built-up bike with Dura Ace and Race X Lite wheels for about $2000 about two years ago. Here is what he said about the bike at the time: "There is a small scratch on the front fork leg which came from a trip on a rear bikerack. No gouges, just scratches, other than that it's immaculate! I have only ridden this bike about 750 miles, due to all the other bikes that I trade off with." I've put perhaps another few thousand miles on it (probably 3000 at the most), then transferred the parts to another frame.
You're welcome to the saddle that came with this or another bike I bought around the same time, a San Marco ERA in fair condition w/Trek badging. You're also welcome to a computer that came with it that I might have messed up a bit by breaking a little plastic tab. You can check it out.
Thanks,
Marc
