Trek's basic road bike, all aluminum, triple crank with Shimano Sora parts, 9 speed in the back.
All parts stock except for saddle, a Selle San Marco ERA in good condition.
It retailed for about $600, I think, and it's in excellent, almost new condition except for the stickers which some dummy (moi) put on it. There are a few small ones on the seat tube like BTA and Friends of Forest Park, and the obligatory big purple KABOO sticker on the down tube. And the remnants of a sticker on one of the forks which I have been trying to gently remove.
Style - bright red/white/blue scheme, with red-rimmed Vuelta wheels. The bike is rather heavy, and the wheels aren't the greatest, thus the low price, but it worked fine and with the triple crank you can of course make it up hills. A good bike to ride around town and lock up, or commute with. It almost certainly has quite low miles on it, because I bought it off of Craigslist a few years ago from a guy who didn't seem to bike much, and I've mostly just ridden it around town now and then.
One of the rims might need a bit of truing.
