Two new races are on the calendar - the Green Mountain Criterium and The Green Mountain Hillclimb - both on Saturday, July 14th.

 

If your not busy handing out pain at the Casade Classic, come out and support this new event. The criterium is happening in downtown Woodland and has potential to draw some crowds. The city has generously closed off the center of their town for the event and hopes to have other festivites going on at the same time.

 

We are offering two youth races (free) so bring the kids and enjoy a good day of bike racing. We are also doing two separate Junior Races - really trying to get the younger racers out there. Come on Juniors its only 5 bucks a race and some great courses.

 

After your Crit do the massive Green Mountain Hillclimb. Remember all the chat last year about the finishing climb at Woodland Road Race? That was only 1/3 of it! We decided to unveil the full monster for this one - a 4 mile climb. Short right?

 

Check out the flyer on the OBRA website for details - like the fact that the hillclimb counts toward TT BAR but is a mass start !!!

 

Please come out and make this a calendar addition that will be worthwhile.
