Calling all Northwest Track Racers and fans:
Make sure and mark your calendar and make your travel plans now for the 2007
edition of the FSA Grand Prix on Friday and Saturday, July 27-28, 2007.
The race is rapidly approaching and promises a fantastic two days and nights
of track racing at the Group Health Velodrome in Marymoor Park, Redmond,
Washington. This year features a purse of $14,000! We have a tentative
payout of $8000 to Elite Men, $3000 to Elite Women and $3000 to Masters!
We expect the racing to be fast and the cheering crowd even bigger than last
year's huge turnout.
The FSA Grand Prix will feature racing for Elite Men, Elite Women and
Masters 35+ fields. Daytime activities will include time trials (500 and
Kilo), pursuits (4k, 3k, 2k), team sprints, team pursuits, the flying 200
and sprint rounds. The evening shows will feature Keirins, sprint finals
and all your favorite mass start races including the Miss and Out, Scratch,
Points and the Madison. For the full schedule and details see the race
flyer at www.fsagrandprix.com.
We should have plenty of host housing available if you are coming to race
from out of town. If you need help with host housing, click on the link at
www.fsagrandprix.com If you have host housing available - please also
click on the link.
This is shaping up to be a great show. Whether you come to race, or cheer
on the racers, we hope to see you at the end of July in Redmond.
