Yeah great race, and weather.
Big thanks to the bike shop in oakridge that cut back all the poison oak, so far so good!
Do any of you experts have an accurate mileage for the course, my computer did not get that info?

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Thanks for FTF

Thanks to Randy for a great Oakridge Fat Tire Festival. I believe attendance for the Super D was more than double last year's. And the course was longer as well, which made for a better race. The XC course was longer also, and even though "The Wall" killed me the extra singletrack was really fun.

For those of you who have never done a Super D, you really should consider heading out to Willamette Pass next weekend. Randy has put together a pretty fun course, and after you are done you can keep on riding. Normally I'm not really part of the chair lift set, but if it's there, you might as well enjoy it.

For the record, if somebody doesn't show up at the finish line right away, ask around before you go trudging back up the course to find that someone. I don't know your name, but your haste caused a lot of people to spend a lot of time looking for you, not the rider who abandoned and got a ride down to the finish. I got stung by a bee and the other guy with me crashed on the way back down.small things, but annoyances that could have been bigger and could have been avoided.
