Please, please, please, if you have random gear you picked up from the Silverton road race, check through it again: we would really like to locate Ryan's helmet. We can live with it if we never do find it, but this is our last desperate plea to get an idea of the helmet damage. Even if you think you may have thrown it away etc., let us know.
Ryan's helmet is a silver Bell Sweep, probably a size Medium. Damaged most likely on the right temporal side. See this link for a photo of him in it:
