Yep, Nutserts work great for water bottle bosses and you don't need to
re-paint, yo.

Braze ons look nice on a steel bike but if utility is all that's needed,
it's real easy to do water bottle "nutserts" from the auto parts store.
Drill two small holes using bottle cage as template, "insert" expanding nut
/ rivet and tighten using the supplied tool. Cheap, easy, quick, functional.

yeah Chris, I am not a real frame builder, i have added pump pegs , cable
stops, and fixed many cracked frames (on older heavier gauge frames mainly..
well and my ugly race bike too, ugliest in obra i am sure...) ,

but if you need water bottle bosses, I would be doing it kind of loosely..
ie Tony probably has Jig, he could do it quickly and easily, and of course
accurately, While it might take me awhile to get things lined up and i might
mess it up... and i finely don't think i have the water bottle thingys.

I have a steel frame that I would like to get some braze on work done on. I had talked to a person a few months ago about fixing a frame for me I know he could do it but I have lost his contact info. Does anybody know who would do this kind of thing?
