Need Help

George and Jeff you are so correct.
God forbid someone need help! I thought as an American each one of us was supposed to be capable of doing anything and everything on our own and if not it just shows weakness.
So it is out there now. I weigh more than both those folks and have asked for help in the past and will do so in the future...
Thanks to the people that stepped up to help them.

Oh please, stop being so sensitive and ready to take offense. All he was asking for is someone stonger than his girl friend to help him move.

So a 90 pound female is not able to help with a move? Lets have some decency people. I weigh 100 and have moved countless times. As a matter of fact, I've seen this Sam guy and he's not very large himself. Maybe its him who needs the assistance, not HER.

To all those in OBRA land,

When I typed my request, I guess I should have worded it more carefully, and I apologize.  I certainly didn't mean to imply that a lighter girl is incapable of moving heavy furniture.  This particular lighter girl is most definitely more capable than me right now, and I know plenty of girls my weight that could put me to shame on my best days.  All I meant was that between both her and I, we just don't have what it takes to lift the heavy stuff.  Anybody who's seen me knows I'm certainly no beast, and I didn't intend for it to sound like I was using her as the whole reason for needing help.  I hope I didn't upset anybody else.

That said, I want to put out a big thanks to the responses I got.  It looks like we'll definitely have all the help we need!

Dear OBRA Friends,
I am writing to ask for your help. My son, Mikael, spent ten years addicted
to meth, both using and manufacturing. He is one of the lucky few who have
made it out of the hell this life can become and is now almost six years
clean. He has written a book and started a foundation to promote pro-active
education to keep people from using drugs in the first place. We are leaving
in one week on a 12,000 mile bicycle trip around the US to promote his book
and foundation. We need help publicizing our trip and gaining exposure on
local and national media. We also would like to make contact with cycling
clubs all around the US where we will be traveling. If anyone can help
please let us know. Also, anyone who would like to purchase a book you may
go to his website: www.800meters.com and do so. If you don't have paypal you
can use a credit card (the link is at the bottom left hand of the page). We
would appreciate anyone purchasing a book as this is how we are funding our
four month trip.

Thanks!!!!!!
