In just under two weeks the annual Mt. Shasta Hillclimb will be happenning
in beautiful Mt. Shasta, CA. This is a great local event put on by the Mt.
Shasta Pedali and area sponsors. This is a non-sanctioned event so no
license is required. The mass start takes the race from downtown up to the
old Ski Bowl in14 miles and 4100 feet of climbing! So, if you were ever
wondering what it would be like to ride and race up the side of a volcano,
here is your chance to find out!

Here is the info:

When: Saturday August 4, 2007

Where: Downtown Mt. Shasta, CA at The Fifth Season Outdoor Store. Take the
Central Mt. Shasta exit from I-5, head east 1/4 mile and you're there.

Time: Registration opens at 7:45 am, race starts at 9:00 am

Entry fee is just $10!!

Prizes: $100 to the first male finisher under 60 minutes and the first
female finisher under 70 minutes. Ribbons for winners.
