There seems to be some sort of 'unwritten rule' that if riders want to
'race' PIR but don't want to pay (i.e. use it as a training race), they
can just join in the field and ride at the back. The only reason I am
bringing this up is becuase I have heard this discussed on several
ocasions while warming up on the infield of PIR ("If you just want to
ride, just show up and ridei n the back of the pack. Don't contest any
sprints,..." yadda-yadda-yadda).
I am not advocating this. It is what is being mentioned and talked
about by some fo the riders is why I am bringing this up. I think the
words needs to be brought out that this is not aceptable.
