OBRA and the race organizer are covered by a separate policy for Tuesday PIR
races. This policy has a lower liability limit and does NOT have a rider
for participate injury coverage. I do not know the particulars re:
requirements for releases, entry fee, or for that matter, helmet use, etc.
for the insurance at PIR. Arguably the "community standard" would be the
policies in effect at all the other races, which is what I posted in my
previous note.
