Get ready for the Portland MTB Short Track Series "Grand Finale", which will take place on the infield of PIR!

If you haven't been out to race or spectate, this will be the perfect time to come and find out what more than 450 racers have been raving about for the last five weeks!

Besides another round of fun short track racing and some hard-fought battles for the '07 series podium spots, we'll have all kind of fun stuff going, from bike & helmet decoration for the kids, to the Clif Bar sampling bar, to an all-new Team Relay "Ultra Short Track" Race.

Like last year, we'll end the night with our series awards and a grand raffle, where we will be giving away over $3,000 worth of prizes, including a Trek 69-er Singlespeed frame, a Giant Cyclocross frame set, a Chris King wheelset (as well as a couple headsets), and a set of 2 Yakima Sprocket Rockets. That's without the onslaught of other prizes and goodies coming your way with the compliments of our generous sponsors Clif Bar, Bike Gallery, Bike N Hike, Dirt Rag and Pyramid Breweries.

PS: the weather forecast for tomorrow looks about perfect (mostly sunny, highs 75-80), but since we will be running a little later into the night, you might want to bring something warm. We'll have the usual free fruit, PB&J sandwiches, and energy drink for our racers, but feel free to bring some extra drinks/snacks to enjoy while hanging out. Please note that beer or other alcoholic beverages are prohibited at PIR.
