Thanks for all of the replies. Interestingly the split suggesting
Washington vs. Oregon was just about equal. Both sound pretty good.

If anyone has advice on how to ride to Cascade Locks from the Portland
area, please respond to me directly. Specifically, how far does the Old
Columbia River Hwy go and/or is there an option through Washington
instead? Obviously I'd like to avoid I-84 as much as possible.
