That?s right, its fixie racing time, starting Monday August 6th, Paul?s Bicycle Way of Life Cycling Team presents Eugene?s very own Twilight Fixed Gear Criterium racing. There will be 2 races every Monday in August, starting with the B race for Category 3 down to Beginner, including Men, Women, & juniors with the Women being scored separate. The A race is for all comers of all categories from P/1-4, women scored separate.

So spread the word to your friends and your teammates, come out and race or watch the best type of racing around.

If you have never raced before and have a fixed gear bike bring it out and do our do our 5:45 training session before your start.

The Rules: One front brake. No freewheel allowed. 21 foot roll-out limit. (One revolution of the crank must be less than 21 feet of forward travel).

6:00PM: B Race (20-25 Laps) open to Category 3 riders and below, men & women, Juniors with a parent present. (women will be scored separate)

6:40PM: A Race (25-30 Laps) Open to everyone Category 1-4, sorry no juniors. (women will be scored separate)

Primes will be awarded based on availability (as we acquire them from local businesses, feel free to bring something along to donate if you want)

This is a race series, Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 placed riders at the end of each month. Points are available for the top ten riders in each race.

Registration opens at 5:30PM, $10 for 1st race, $5 for 2nd race of the night.

This is an OBRA event. Helmets required.
OBRA License required - $5/one day or $20/annual.

Directions to Race
From I-5 take exit 195B, Beltline West till it ends. Go right on West 11th. The second light is Terry. Take a right. Proceed to the Technology Park on the left.
