FINAL REMINDER:OBRA Time Trial Championships coming August 5th

Chris Bright

2007-07-30

This is a final reminder that the upcoming OBRA Time Trial Championships are a pre-registration only event. The deadline of Wednesday, August 1, is only two days away. Based on the number of registrations received so far there appears to be a fair number of procrastinators out there, so please register now if you are planning doing the event. Since the registration needs to be received by that time, please register online from now on.

A preliminary start list will be published on Thursday and a final start list on Friday via the OBRA list-serve and at www.emeraldvelo.org .

Finally, direct any future questions to me at chris.bright.pdx@gmail.com. This e-mail account will no longer be operable as of Wednesday.

Thanks!

Chris Bright

The Peoria Park Boat Ramp will be on the West side of Peoria Road. The parking lot is ΒΌ mile south of the Peoria Boat Ramp at the corner of Main and Park Street.

More Information:

o NO PARKING AT THE BOAT RAMP! We must leave space for others to enjoy this public facility. If you park in the lot, you will be asked to move your car. This has consistently been a problem in the past, so consider this fair warning. Park in the area provided.

o Sign-in will be located near the start/finish area at the boat ramp. If you have completed your registration form and are paid in full, there is no need to check in.

o Plan to be at the start line no later than 3 minutes prior to your start time.

o Riders crossing through the start/finish area in either direction at any time other than during his/her race may be disqualified.

o Please take any trash out that you bring in with you. Let's leave the race venue cleaner than we found it.

o Please be courteous and respectful towards our hosts. There will be plenty of porta-potties on site.

o Riders urinating in public will be disqualified!

o Race participants must be an OBRA member. Sign up for OBRA at www.signmeupsports.com or add $5 for a single day license and enclose a Single Event License Application form which can be downloaded here: http://www.obra.org/pdfs/single_event_license.pdf .

o Please try and carpool if at all possible.
