I had a blood test for a physical and it showed I have a low red blood cell count. They claimed a normal person has 4.4 to 5.9 10E12/L and I only had 4.39. The doctor wasn't concerned but I thought I'd be faster on the bike if I could raise it since the red blood cells carry the oxygen through the body.
I'm looking for a sports doctor that can give me sound advice on diet changes or legal (non-protour) supplements. It would be pretty pathetic if I got busted for EPO trying to win a cat 4 race.
I have the full results of the blood test for reference.
Thanks,
Brett
