There is no wax in Pledge, but I'm going to try this for sure. Thanks.

Plexus is pretty good but one better for optical plastics is a product
called "210" by Sumner Laboratories. It's very popular for cleaning
aircraft plastics and can sometimes be found at better motorcycle shops.
It's coating not only minimizes scratches but is also anti-static and
anti-fog. Made in USA.
It's the best product I've ever used for lenses and face shields, and
I've used quite a few.

I use Plexus on my Motor Cycle visor, and windscreen.
It does smell as nice, but it works good. Available in small pump spray size
bottles at most Motorcycle stores. You can also use it to clean bug splats
off of you helmets, clean your bike, computer screen or other plastic
products.

It's sort of a "Hints from Heloise" thing, but I found out that scratches in
plastic eyeglasses can be dealt with by spraying them with Pledge. I tried
it on my Smith Moab inserts and my regular glasses and it helps. The
aerosol-borne wax fills in the scratches. I sprayed a bunch on so there
was a "foamy" layer and then just rubbed it in/off with a tissue.
