Groups meeting to bike to PIR tonight?

Emily,
I don't know of any groups tonight and I didn't bring my bike with me so I won't be racing. To avoid construction in downtown Portland, I would ride MAX to the Rose Quarter (either red or blue line). From there if you want to ride and warm up go down to Interstate (the street between the Rose Quarter and the Willamette River) and then follow the MAX tracks almost all the way to PIR. There are bike lanes most of the way from the Rose Quarter to the Delta Park/PIR area. At the end of Interstate you will take what is like an offramp (I think the sign says Delta Park, but I am not sure). When you drop down that ramp, you turn left and then you are on the same road that you would be on if you got off the freeway.

If you would like to meet and ride to the track next Tuesday, let me know.

Jon

I was checking to see if there are designated meeting places and times for groups that may be biking out to PIR tonight. I am in Beaverton, at Nike-but can Max it downtown, etc.
If nothing organized is out there, does anyone have a good route suggestion for me?
