Hello Portland-
Whitman college has a club cycling team which has been regularly
competitive. I am a parent of one of the riders and have had them stay at my
home in Everett Washington in the past and they will again this year the
last weekend in March. The following weekend the races are in Portland, but
there is no homestay lined up yet.
This is about two dozen riders that come, use your kitchen with thier food,
and leave quietly after cleaning up. These people are athletes and eat and
drink like they are on a race schedule, in otherwords there is no booze and
they go to bed early and leave silently.
They sleep on beds, couches, floors and in tents in the yard.
