Here is the route I took two weeks ago and it was great. A few areas of traffic, but they were short. 2.5 miles of unimproved roadway, but it was not too bad. Be sure to bring plenty of water because there are long areas of no stores, etc.

and has relatively low traffic. I would like to end up in the Tillamook
