I will not be attending this but was considering it earlier.
I got the following info from their website about a month ago... Not saying
it is still what is happnin', but.........

The info I got from their site noted a 10 AM rider meeting at start
line... then start (on Saturday Sept. 1). Pro, Semi Pro, 19-39 Expert men,
40+ Expert start first followed thirty seconds later by Pro, Expert women.
Two minutes later the Singlespeeders go followed thirty seconds afterward by
sport 15-18. Men's sport 19-39, 40+, 50+ thirty seconds after singlespeed.
Sport women and 40+ start thirty seconds later. Then after a two minute
wait the Beginner men U14 and 15-18 start followed thirty seconds later by
the Beginner men 19-39 and 40+. Finally the Beginner women and Junior women
U18 start thirty seconds after the last mentioned group.

I got this from Ben Moore who is the promoter:

"The racers meeting is @ 9:50 and the race starts at 10:00am. Beginner waves will leave approximately six minutes after the pro's so be prepared to go around 10:06 am."

Hey Ben, Chris has a question for you about the race this weekend. I think
if you answer him on the obra list (reply all) you could answer his
questions and get more people to attend.

Chris, Ben Moore is the race promoter. I forward this to him in hopes to get
your questions answered.

All I know is the race is a go, because the promoter called me to see if I was attending and would help, I am getting married next weekend, so I need to focus on that and can't help. Some DOD people are attending maybe they know more.

I would really like to do this race. That is a fun location for
riding. I bet it would make a good race venue. Looks like the
pro/expert's will do one big lap? Beginners do a shorter loop. A great
introduction to racing in a fresh location... but...

The race is supposedly in 3 days!?! There has been no published info
about the race start time, specific location, or prize list. Just a
note saying "stay tuned for map and updates"... There is a large body
of riders who would also like to do this event, but are left wondering

I missing something?

I have emailed the site and have not gotten a response. Anyone else
