yeah, if i was getting e-mails for viagra and penis enlargement from being
on obra that might be a little iritating.
but to complain about getting a few direct e-mails from bicycle related
stuff is silly.
take that energy and work towards saving the environment, or some social
cause.

Tip: most email services let you create + aliases for your email address. For example, you could use dougsears+obra@gmail.com, and emails sent to that address would actually go to your regular dougsears@gmail.com account. This is useful for filtering incoming email and also gives you a simple audit trail to see who is selling or distributing your address.
