Another quick update on the course for tomorrow's race...

I went to the farm tonight for a final check of the course and found out that there is a section on the east side of the course that has suffered a bit from field irrigation. Depending on what the conditions of that section are tomorrow morning, I think there is a good chance that we will modify the course to avoid this section altogether and add some mileage elsewhere along the course. So be prepared for a course that might look a bit different from what is currently posted on the web site.

All things considered, I think that the best bike choice for this race will be a cyclocross bike with cyclocross tires... but then again, who knows what the course will look like tomorrow! ;o)
