Yes Brian, there's a whole other world out there just waiting for you to
explore. It lies just beyond the curtain of winter in a land made
sparkling and white by the frosty kiss of winter. A land where the
barriers are made by wind sculpting rock and tree. Where the climbs can
go on for hours and some days you can believe you will surely touch the
sky. Where descents are like surfing pillowy waves undulating for
thousands of feet; your own personal roller coaster ride.
People have been doing it for thousands of years. It has all the depth
and variety of cycling (and some would even argue it's more pure because
of it's simplicity).
Keep that in mind if you ever come to the point in your life you feel
you'd enjoy some variety.

Until then, have a great cross season.

Sorry, but i had to laugh when I read this: "If the majority of people

approaching ski season..."

I don't know if I'm like the majority of people, but this time of year
my mind is on cyclocross. And muddy rides up in Forest Park.

What is "ski season"? I do not know the meaning of this "ski season". And there's something else besides bikes?? Weird.

I was thinking that this might not be the best time of the year for a
cycling swap meet. If the majority of people are like me this time of
year my mind is on other things; the approaching ski season, getting
projects done around the house that were put off to go to races over the
summer, etc.
Therefore I suggest you consider a spring swap meet. Perhaps in
conjunction with the first PIR of the season. It could not only reach a
lot of people when the interest in cycling is high but also might be
used in conjunction with an effort to bring first time racers out. You
know, the enticement of hot deals and "oh, by the way, while you're here
doesn't the racing look like fun"?
In that case you may want to hold onto that stuff until then.

Just a thought...

I pretty much have everything one would need, and the room is currently furnished with a bed, computer, large closet, everything one would need.

You just need to be neat, don't smoke, and don't keep me up all hours of the night. Male or female, does not matter, but honestly I think Nash needs another male figure in the house to play with him. He is honestly, the most loving, playful, yet calm beagle out there.
