Thanks for the update. You're one tough 'crosser.

I say this because I was on the scene and he actually was going to continue to race. the only thing that stopped him is that his vision was a bit blurry from the dirt in his eye.

Thanks to everyone who assisted me today after my crash in the 50+ race.

After 30 minutes I fell hard going around a jog in a gravel path. I was passing some slower riders and was a bit off line but nothing really unusual. I was at speed and suddenly high sided face first onto the gravel. It was instantaneous and violent. I've got 12 stitches in my face,a black eye that is swollen shut, a fat lip, a headache and a very sore neck. Fortunately no boken bones.

I thought maybe I rolled a tire but there is no evidence of that. I am grateful that it wasn't worse I suppose.
