Framebuilder Question

Feasible, I believe. Cost effective, unlikely. I don't believe any of
the local framebuilders work with aluminum. You might give Paul Sadoff a
call at Rock Lobster.

Is it possible to cut the dropouts off an aluminum frame, re-weld new dropouts and heat treat back to original spec?

Frame material is 7000 series.

If this is feasible, need to know who can pull it off.
