In case you're not familiar with TGH, it has done more than any other team in the Pacific Northwest to grow the sport of women's bike racing. It mentors its new and developing riders, who in turn upgrade through the categories and become mentors themselves. Its members almost never leave to join other teams--which is a good indicator of the kind of support that exists. Team members work outside the team and in collaboration with other teams to support the sport in a variety of ways. They race all different kinds of bikes, and race them well. I've never been on the team, but it has been amazing to watch what TGH has done over the last few years. You would have to search far to find a more organized, cohesive, committed, and focused team of women cyclists. Men should be jealous that they don't have a similar opportunity! -Martha

Team Group Health is building our Oregon based team in 2008. Team Group Health (SoundVelo) is the largest women's only cycling club in the NW. Voted 2004 and 2005 Women's Cycling Club of the Year by USA Cycling, TGH is focused on supporting women riders in all categories and all classifications. TGH riders are found on podiums in Washington, Oregon, nationally and internationally. TGH is based in Seattle, but for a couple of years we have supported smaller teams in Oregon, Colorado, and Montana. We want to grow our OR based team and we want you!
If you are looking to get into racing, if you are looking for a team that has riders in every category you are interested in, if you have your sights set on racing nationally, then consider joining TGH-OR.
