DAVID HOPPER
This is an old (80's) Alan aluminum cyclocross frame and fork with a mish-mash of parts on it. If you were around the cross scene in the 80's and early 90's, then you know what this frame is. It was one of the only "real" cross frames that was readily available back then. It was imported from Ten Speed Drive Imports (still has the sticker on it).
While old and well used, this bike is still decent and fairly light. It would be a great bike for a newbie, or maybe a pit bike or a commuter.
- Alan aluminum frame and fork (56cm x 56cm):
- no decals
- no bottle bosses
Wheels: Araya Super aero rims, dura-ace hubs. Very tough wheelset. Currently has winter road tires on it.
Cassette: 8spd ultegra - 12-23
Campy Ergo 8spd rear shifter. No left shifter.
Brakes: Avid Shorty 6
R. Der.: Ultegra
Cranks: Some old Shimano cranks with a single chainring (170). Has guards on both sides of the ring so the chain will never come off.
Saddle: Old beat-up Flite
Seat Post: Old Dura-Ace
