I thought I would tell you about a little history that was make last week.
Every year Mike Murray puts on a 6-day track race. This year for the first
time in alpenrose history and I believe in the history of Madisons 6 day's
that an all "chick" team competed !
Darien Curl & Emily Thurston did so awesome, they never once giving
up.....maybe throwing up a bit and continuing on, but never giving an inch !
Way to go "Bridgeport Babes!" - you guys are such STUDETTES!

PS - Did I mention that Darien was so determined to finish that she competed
the last 3 days with a fever ! Now that's an ANIMAL!
