I have to second Don's opinon. This was the best course overall since have been doing 'cross (3+ years). Had a little of everything but not too ridiculous and great for spectators.

I suppose it would have been ideal to put a barrier just after the track section at the bottom of that hill to force a dismount but otherwise it was awesome and worth the longer drive. Maybe next year we can make the sand box twice as big, too!

With 'cross growing popularity, longer, more open courses really make for fun racing since the start isn't so crucial and riders can work together. This one was the obvious antithesis to the first two races. Thanks Crusaders!

If you missed the Ranier Cross race I have to tell you it was worth it. This is the best cross course I have done in a while (it didn't bother me there were no dismounts in the early races). Hard climbs, fast downhills. Some mud and some tricky steep climbs (or run ups). I drove for ever to get there and it was worth it. Next week is too far for me so have fun out there.
