You may consider contacting your US Senator or Congress person on his behalf. They have connections and know the laws. Gordon Smith's office was imperative in getting speedy residency for my wife. They don't charge or accept payment for their services. We never paid any attorneys and got it done on our own faster than others. Beware--lots of people making lots of money off this disfunctional system...
