Must be 5 people in each race for it to count towards the series overall.
We will be having two separate kids races, ages 7 & under and 8 12, with separate course for each age group. Prizes and medals for all participants.
We will also be having a team relay race, this is a 3 lap race in the middle of the day, with 3 riders (doesnt matter on category) each doing 1 lap. We have a special award for the series fastest team.
Prizes are still being worked out and our online flyer will reflect the changes as they occur.
See if you can win the Mad Crosser prize, a fun scavenger hunt in the Eugene/Springfield area. The Mad Crosser will be releasing clues at each race, if you put all the pieces together you will be entered into the drawing for a special prize.
The last two races will be a fund raiser for Toys For Tots and you will receive a $2 discount on your entry fee for bringing a toy. Please help us by donating a great toy for this great cause.
All the races are open to any bike that can handle a little off-road action, and the venues are perfect for bringing the family out for a BBQ and spectating of the races. So grab your friends and family and come on out and have some fun, race in your race and hang out for the day or just come cheer everyone on. Bring a bell or other noise making device and help everyone around the course. Part of cross is everyone cheering on the sidelines.
After the last race we would like invite everyone down to Track Town Pizza for the awards and end of season Eugene Holiday Cycling Party. Even if you dont race Cross come on and down and have a good time, the party is open to all cyclists. Track Town Pizza will be having specials on food and beer (or other drinks if youre under 21) for everyone. Party starts at 6pm Saturday night, awards sometime later that evening.
Our online flyer will be posted on www.obra.org soon for more information, if you have any questions feel free to drop me an email.
