Roller Dogs of Dishman

Big thanks go to Grahams and Creem and old River City
for our success at Knott on the first of November.
Special thanks as well to all the folks caught on film
in and around the 2005 Tour de France.

Video art portrayed life, as practice emulated art
Thursday. Boonen and
Hushvold were to deville Les Essart, what Graham and
Creem were to Dishman Community Center.
Like Tifosi would, all four were observed riding their
bikes by Dishman ping pong dogs, Avante, and Gevante.

Wooed by Accelerade and pop corn, these youngins
forwent their paddles and pursued the peloton. Josua
Creem and Dave Wingard painstakingly held them up
until the eleven year olds found their balance.
Offended by oxygen debt, they damned their donors and
temporarily forgot their faith. But they soon returned
in the name of competition.

Competing for a soda pop, wrongly enough, short little
round Gevante beat his long lanky ping pong pal by
riding rollers for over 3 minutes without reaching for
the wall.

The whole hallway whelped victorious. The new guys
were wild and hilarious. But they made it up - on
their own.

Rally roller riders, rally to Dishman Community
Center, Thursdays from Four to Six!
